ROOTs is Now Joint Commission Accredited

We’re excited to share that ROOTs Transition has achieved accreditation by The Joint Commission!

The Joint Commission is the nation’s most respected accrediting body in healthcare. Their evaluation process is rigorous—they examine everything from our clinical care and safety protocols to how we support families throughout treatment. Earning this accreditation confirms that ROOTs meets the gold standard for behavioral health programs.

What this means for families:

This is a game-changer for insurance reimbursement. Many insurance companies require Joint Commission accreditation for out-of-network coverage, and this credential makes it significantly easier for families to secure reimbursement for treatment. For families facing the financial strain of getting their child the help they need, this opens doors that weren’t available before.

It also means families can have even greater confidence in the care their children receive at ROOTs. This accreditation reflects what we’ve always been committed to—evidence-based treatment, continuous improvement, and doing right by the young people and families we serve.

We’re proud of this milestone and grateful for your partnership in supporting the families who come to us. If you have questions about what this means or want to talk more about ROOTs, we’re always here.

Cheers to this next chapter!
