Coady Schueler – Psy.D

I have been practicing as a psychotherapist and psychologist for thirty years. Over the course of my career, I have worked in a variety of settings which include residential treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, therapeutic boarding schools, private practice and wilderness therapy programs. I have a depth and breadth of experience in working with adolescent females. Specifically, I am well versed in working with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, substance use/abuse, school avoidance and attachment issues. In addition, I have experience in conducting psychological evaluations. This informs me diagnostically in how best to approach my work with a student.

Being a parent has provided me, and continues to provide me, with humility and compassion. These are the cornerstones of myself as a person, a psychotherapist and as a clinical psychologist.

Originally from the east coast, I fell in love with the wide open space of the west when I participated in a Colorado Outward Bound course at the age of fourteen. I moved to Park City, Utah in 1993 to complete my dissertation and have lived here ever since. Telemark skiing and hiking are my passions.
