Cassandra is passionate about creating meaningful moments and facilitating safe and informed activities that allow the clients to interact with their physical environment and set them up to foster a sense of confidence in working through new experiences. Cassandra has a bachelor’s degree of art in geography and literary studies from the University of Denver. Cassandra has also worked over 500 field days with at-risk youth in the wilderness of Utah and has another 300 guiding days of staff training and commercial recreation – she is also a certified archery instructor. Cassandra works at ROOTs because she believes experiences in nature allow us to heal from hurt and build resilience.
